ASANA

PHILOSOPHY

There are many Eastern philosophies that merge to form the foundation of yoga philosophy. I teach simple principles that will be helpful in your daily life off the mat. My classes are based on Patanjali's sutras and modern human philosophies.

My guided meditations will help you cultivate the habit of sitting with yourself, focusing on the breath and body. We will explore many different ways to meditate in a fun and easy manner. let’s stop feeling intimidated by meditation.

MEDITATION

PRANAYAMA

Pranayama is one of the crucial tools to regulate our nervous system. We need to be proficient in moving our body first before manipulating our subtle energies. I pay attention to the type of Pranayama we do in class, which will aid in your inner growth and calm your nervous system.

Testimonials

  • I really enjoyed leaning from sneha the fundamentals of asana practice. I feel stronger and confident to move with my body on the mat. I love how breath is the center of the practice and I am always reminded to come back to it. The classes are perfect blend of easing into the poses and also challenging enough for me to come back to the mat. I am looking forward to the wonderful journey of knowing my body and mind with Sneha's guidance

  • Sneha is a passionate and dedicated yoga teacher. She introduces a lot of variety to make the sessions more interesting and fun. Her classes are very calming and unhurried as she doesn’t rush me through the asanas, and I feel completely relaxed and energized at the end of every session. Since the time I have started, I have noticed tangible reduction in the sciatica issue I have had in the last couple of years. The simple advice and techniques taught in the class have been helping me to a large extent. Thank you for your patience and dedication!

  • Practising Yoga with Sneha has been a truly joyful experience. She takes you in a beautiful state of flow, has the ability to think of her feet and design the classes according to the need of the hour. And most importantly, has a positive mindset and a smile on her face.

    Dinika, Bengaluru

  • I met Sneha during one of her travels in Himaylayas and I was inspired by her desire to deeper her knowledge about yoga and spirituality, devotion for practice and humbleness. She comes across as a nice “girl from the neighborhood” and as much as it is true, cause she is super friendly, easy and open it’s also not entire true. She is a very powerful women, who came long journey in life and it’s not only not afraid to stand behind her truth, but also wants to grow more and more every day and mostly - share everything she learnt with other women. It makes her very generous. I appreciate her as a yoga teacher, guide and mentor.

Education and certifications

If you are not a yoga teacher, this list might seem like a foreign language. I have dedicated last 3 years to studying yoga with various schools and teachers from both the Eastern and Western yoga traditions.

Driven by a desire for perfectionism, I aimed to equip myself with comprehensive knowledge to teach effectively, especially to beginners. Although I quickly realized the flip side of this perfectionism, I can confidently say that I am a skilled teacher who continuously invests time in learning.

Yoga is a lifelong journey for me, and I take my role as a teacher very seriously. First and foremost, I am a student of yoga.

  • Eastern Yoga philosophy, Vinyasa yoga, Meditation, Hatha yoga and Yoga sutras

  • Hatha yoga, Kriyas, Chanting, Pranayama, Streams of yoga, Study of spiritual masters, Introduction to yoga therapy

  • Vinyasa yoga, alignment and advanced sequencing, Pranayama, Meditation, Injury management, Anatomy, Yoga sutras

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

There are a lot of styles in yoga teaching. My teaching philosophy is to make asana accessible to everyone. My sequences/flows are tailored to provide an effective practice and to be enjoyable as you move your body.

Philosophy-infused flows are designed to inspire you to take the practice off the mat. We will work with the body, explore different variations, and powerful poses to keep advancing in the practice and lear basic foundation skills to move and be with ease.

In my classes, you will also find an emphasis on breath work and meditation, which are integral components of a holistic yoga practice. By integrating pranayama and mindfulness techniques, I aim to help you develop a deeper connection with your inner self, promoting overall well-being and inner peace.
